Former FBS project employee, Maciej Lisiewicz had the pleasure of participating in the #GISDay2024 celebrations at the Faculty of Geographical Sciences of the University of Lodz!

This unique event brought together both young enthusiasts and experienced specialists from the GIS industry. Participants had the opportunity to listen to inspiring lectures and presentations - including fascinating analyses based, among others, on the results of the ForBioSensing project. It was shown how data from this project can support the management of natural resources.

Finally... something to sweeten it up! Everyone could try the beautiful anniversary cake, which looked so good that it was a shame to cut it!

GIS connects people, data and ideas - it was a day full of passion and knowledge.
