Although the winter season has not yet started (the beginning of the calendar winter falls on December 22), a layer of snow covered the forest. The Białowieża Forest slowly takes on a winter landscape. This sight undoubtedly pleased all the children who were just waiting for to make a snowman, and reminded adults of the need to find a snow shovel.

This is an ideal time to observe traces of the existence of animals that move due to more difficult access to food.
