The Forbiosensing team, during tasks carried out in the project, collects data on many features of trees and stands of the Białowieża Primeval Forest. Their condition and development depends, among other things, on weather conditions occurring in the Forest.

Yesterday, during work carried out in the field, meteorological stations recorded a high temperature: 39.2 ° C at 14:00 at the ground. Interestingly, the day before the morning the temperature at 2 meters above the ground was 7.5 ° C. Provided as part of the Meteoportal project, it gives access to current information on the weather conditions prevailing in the Forest. The meteorological stations placed on three Bialowieza forest clearings enable the reading of a dozen or so weather parameters. The above presented temperatures have been registered by the meteorological station located in Gruszki.
